We are happy to provide boarding services to our current clients and their pets that see our doctors for veterinary care. Because we are primarily a medical facility, we only board pets that our doctors are familiar with, that are healthy enough to board, and that are friendly. All pets must pass a pre-boarding exam before being considered fit to board. All dogs must be current on the following vaccinations: Rabies, Parvo/Distemper, and Kennel Cough (Bordetella) and they need to have a negative fecal exam within the past year. Cats need to be current on their Rabies and FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, and Panleukopenia) vaccines. All pets are required to be flea and intestinal parasite free and if they are not, we will treat appropriately.
In the boarding facility, all dogs stay in indoor climate controlled runs and are walked outside at least two to three times daily in an enclosed area for exercise. We also offer a “suite” for boarders that is a large room separated from the other pets staying with us. Feline boarders stay in “cat condos” in our treatment area where they can be closely watched by team members throughout the day. Any boarder with special medical needs is monitored closely by the staff throughout the day, so clients with geriatric or ill pets do not need to worry while their pet is staying with us. All of our furry friends receive personal attention from team members daily, and the facilities are kept clean and maintained throughout their stay.
